A handsome Limited Numbered First Edition signed by the author on the limitation page. Numbered 390 of 450 specially bound copies printed on special paper and signed. A story about the adventures of the Reverend Tom Marshfield -- literate, charming, sexual -- whose outrageous behavior with the ladies of his flock scandalizes his parish. The book is bound in dark red and brown cloth and is in fine unread condition but for a light erasure mark (formerly ink?) on the bottom edge; otherwise the book is clean and very bright with a nice dark topstain on the top page edge. With a fine dustjacket in a fine acetate cover. And in a near fine slipcase with only two tiny dark pinpricks on the front panel; otherwise very nice and very solid. A wonderful set.
