A beautiful Limited Numbered Edition of two early tales by Charlotte Bronte, first published in this edition after her death. Numbered 54 of 300 Limited Edition copies and signed by the Editor on the limitation page. In fine beige leather (so described) and bright turquoise cloth in a near fine matching slipcase. The fore- and top edges are dyed blue. Only very very light soiling prevents the slipcase from being rated very fine. The book interior and exterior are very clean and bright. Includes a copy of the original manuscripts that were discovered after Charlotte Bronte's death. Transcribed from the original manuscript and edited by William Holtz, the stories in this lovely book give a fascinating view of their path from creation to publication. A lovely Limited Numbered edition.
