A limited-edition copy, signed by the author and numbered. Hardcover bound in reddish-brown cloth with matching slipcase, both in Very Fine+ condition and in a still sealed state. Appears flawless. We believe this to be the 1995 Numbered/signed limited edition, of which 150 were published in hardback with matching slipcase. Embossed titling in gilt along the spine with facsimile signature in matching gilt along the front board of slipcase.

Sealed editions of limited B.E. Trice publications appear to have become scarce, including this title.

We are unsure of the number of this edition, as it is still in the original sealed state. Presents with two lower punch holes in the plastic shrink-wrap below the publisher’s imprint on book edition’s spine and two punch holes in plastic to the spine of the slipcase. Most likely a numbered edition vs. one of the 26 lettered editions, but we cannot be sure.

Fans of the dark morality and gritty world of “True Detective” may find “Burning Angel” a tense, atmospheric read. Burke's New Orleans ex-cop Dave Robicheaux returns in this novel, which Kirkus Reviews described as full of “matchlessly bedeviled characters” and “sharp, original scenes.”
