Paul Tremblay has been a rising star in the horror genre, with his novel "Cabin at the End of the World" adapted to film by director M. Night Shyamalan. Tremblay is slated to contribute to a new anthology based on Stephen King's "The Stand" universe. In an interview with Stasia Walmsley in February 2023, he remarked on his admiration for Stephen King and included an anecdote: "He's been super supportive and a great ear to bend...He did ask me to check out his math on a SAT problem, which he put into the novel "The Institute." So now, I consider myself his math tutor."
