Winner of the 1987 Caldecott Medal, the U.S. edition was printed in 1986 and this edition in 1989. The British edition is quite scarce, especially signed. With wonderful illustrations by Richard Egielski, this charming book is a treasure. The story is about hardworking janitor Al and his faithful dog Eddie, and their discovery that home was not so bad after all. In fine unread condition.
