Two traditional rhymes from Mother Goose ingeniously joined and intepreted by Maurice Sendak with extensive lovely whimsical illustrations. The book is in fine condition in a colorful fine dustjacket in protective plastic cover. 56 pp. Maurice Sendak has been awarded countless awards for illustration of children's books, including the Caldecott Medal, 1964 (for Where the Wild Things Are); Hans Christian Andersen International Medal, 1970; Laura Ingalls Wilder Award, 1983; Jewish Cultural Achievement Award, 1988; National Medal of Arts, 1996.
