"Outside Over There" is a children's picture book penned and illustrated by Maurice Sendak, first published in 1981. The tale follows Ida, a young girl entrusted with the care of her baby sister as her father is at sea and her mother preoccupied. A pivotal moment occurs when goblins steal Ida's sister, replacing her with an ice baby. Driven by determination, Ida embarks on a journey to the enigmatic land "Outside Over There."
In conversations with readers, we've discovered that this title is frequently mentioned, on par with Sendak's most renowned work, "Where the Wild Things Are."
