Book in very fine condition with no flaws. The author has signed and numbered this edition. Signed "Henry Roth" and numbered as 88 out of 300 copies. Illustrated with 48 photographs set in New York City during the time period of the story. The cloth boards depict a brick building with large four pane windows, matching the design of the slipcase.
There were an additional 26 lettered publication copies.
Slip case shows the faintest hints of smudging, small bump to back end corner, small wrinkle to top of spine. Spine of slipcase mimics a building facade with the title encased in a business/apartment marquee.
Published by the incredible Arion press, true masters of modern book making.
