Steve Young (born October 11, 1961) played 15 seasons in the NFL, most of those years with the San Francisco 49ers (1987-1999). With the 49ers, Young became the team's all-time rushing quarterback and was twice elected as the NFL's Most Valuable Player. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2005.
