A large illistrated First Edition of McDowall's famous photographs of Hollywood figures. This is actor and violinist Jack Benny's copy, with a short note to Benny from McDowall; the acetate folder holding the note to Jack Benny is taped to the inner cover. Photographs of Benny appear on pages 20-21. Illustrated with photographs of 98 famous personalities by well-known actor Roddy McDowall who was also a life-long photographer of his friends and fellow actors. Bound in black and white cloth, the book is in nice condition, square and solid, but with yellowing at edges of the white portion of the boards. The dustjacket is complete with the original price ($15.00) but shows darkening and touches of wear mostly on the edges. Protected by an archival dustjacket.
