Written by Susan Goldman Rubin with Ela Weissberger, this memoir is an view into Ela's experiences at the Terezin concentration camp and an account of making the unbearable bearable. While at the concentration camp, Ela was chosen to play the role of the cat in a children's opera being performed called "Brundibar". In her warm inscription, Ela writes "Remeber me and my friends with love, Ela-cat from Terezin, 4/17/07". A very beautiful copy.
