Includes the Publisher's Note and Certificate of Authenticity from Easton Press. Dr. Watson became director of the Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory in Long Island, New York in 1976 and is currently its president. In 1989 he was appointed Director of the NIH National Center for Human Genome Research, a position he resigned in 1992 after successfully launching a worldwide effort to map and sequence the human genome. The sequel to Dr. Watson's earlier book, "The Double Helix."
