A handsome First Edition (so stated) inscribed by the author to "Art--with thanks for faith in "A Hog"--Yours ever--Allan Gurganus, 1991." Signed in the year of publication on the title page; from the library of Arthur W. Stone. In black and pink cloth & boards, the book is in fine unread condition but with a light rub on the attractive turquoise topstain and the ink from the inscription shows slightly on the verso of the title page. The black dustjacket is complete and in fine condition but one very light scratch on the front black panel, barely noticeable. By the author of his earlier "Breathing Lessons" and the "Oldest Living Confederate Widow Tells All." A nice copy.
