A handsome brown leather First Edition of James Jones' last novel, published after his death. This is the third novel in the war trilogy preceded by "From Here to Eternity" and "The Thin Red Line." In Near Fine condition, the book is in Fine condition very faint light fading at the edges of the moire silk endpapers and two tiny touches on the gold gilt page edges so light they do not affect the gilt. Also with gold gilt cover designs and bound-in silk bookmark. A nice copy.
