A striking and beautiful Limited Numbered First Edition signed by the author on the limitation page. Numbered 983 of 1000 Limited Signed copies. This very large book features page after page of beautiful illustrations by artist Neiman that represent his 140 page notebook from his extensive visit to beautiful Brazil and Carnaval in the early 80's. The book is covered in a heavy vinyl dustjacket that is complete but that features the usual stickiness to the book covers that has removed light portions of the color to the dustjacket. Otherwise the book and the dustjacket are in fine condition. The book is packed in the original box that is in fine condition with the Title, Author and Limitation printing on the outside. In the early pages, Neiman describes Carnaval: "An explosion of madness, everish capriciousness, joyous fantasy, frenzied, exhilerating, vibrating -- Carnaval" and it is those sentiments that are displayed in bright living color in this impressive scarce Limited Edition.
