A beautiful Deluxe edition, a photo documentary of the music group The Who in the 1960's, signed by Ross Halfin and, in the Deluxe edition only, Roger Daltrey on separate limitation pages. Numbered 66 of only 250 Deluxe editions. In fine condition, this Deluxe book is bound in full Blue Leather with gold gilt page edges. Enclosed in a fine slipcase in pictorial boards. This lovely edition covers the "legendary performances by The Who, such as the embryonic shows at the Goldhawk Club; recording on Ready Steady Go! and at the Duke of York's Barracks for American TV; live at the Richmond Jazz Festival in 1965, the Pembroke College May Ball in Oxford, and more. The Who are shown in the recording studio in the early days with Shel Talmy and Glyn Johns and later when recording Tommy. Rehearsal sessions are also pictured while more private moments are captured in photographs of Pete, Roger and John in their London homes, with their beloved cars, and in the quest for Mod clothes in Chelsea boutiques." [Genesis]. Also issued in a Collector's edition numbered 251 to 1500 with a lesser binding. A great and collectible set of one of the best known music groups of the 60's and 70's.
