In 1917 Stieglitz begain putting together a series of photographs of O'Keeffe that would be a portrait of the many aspects of her. This portrait would be one of the most complete and extensive portraits of a woman in the history of art. This book features 50 photographic plates from hundreds taken over 30 years with a Foreword by Georgia O'Keeffe. The book is in cream and fawn cloth & boards and is in fine condition. The light beige dustjacket is in fine condition and the fine matching beige slipcase is complete, solid and clean. This is a very large book and the scans are necessarily abbreviated. A beautiful book by and about two important American artists.
