A very special First British Edition of Ray Bradbury's First Book, inscribed by the author with an original drawing and date (October 25, 1980) on the front free endpaper. In dark teal cloth, the book is in fine condition but for overall minor touches of soiling but is square and solid. The original dustjacket is complete with the lower corner of the front clap clipped and the original price (5s.NET) added. Overall the dustjacket shows touches of wear at the edges and small slits beginning at the top edge of the spine and soiling on the white panels; but the protective archival plastic cover protects it well. A lovely copy of the most important book by one of our favorite authors. Scarce. Parrish Books guarantees all signatures as authentic.
