A nice First Edition of Ray Bradbury's best known works, signed by the author and housed in a beautiful custom clamshell case. In dark red cloth with gold yellow titling, the book is in fine condition with wear at the edges of the covers, a touch of wear on the spine and natural aging to the pages. Signed by the author on the front free endpaper "John Melville! Ray Bradbury, Oct. 8, 1982." There is a small 4 digit number in the top corner of the same page. The dustjacket is in near fine condition--it is complete with the original price ($2.50 but has two small chips on the edges, lightening on the spine and shows light soiling and yellowing on the front and back panels. The beautiful clamshell is in black cloth with light tan inserts matching the book. The front cover has the digits "451" impressed into the cover and spine has a glossy label that is a miniature of the front cover of the book. A very special book in a beautiful presentation. Scarce.
