Farrar, Straus and Giroux, New York, 1967. First Edition, First Printing, . Binding: Cloth & Boards. Book Condition: Near Fine. Jacket Condition: Very Good+ in Plastic Cover.. This is a first edition of Dunne's first book, about Cesar Chavez and the grape strike in California in 1965. Includes photographs by Ted Streshinsky. Book is clean and straight, in green and black cloth and boards. Dust jacket is bright, lightly soiled in places, with some slight chipping at edges, and shelf rubbing. There is a 1cm round stain on the spine. It's been price-clipped, and there's a closed half-inch tear at top edge. Jacket art and design are striking, and very evocative of the period. John Gregory Dunne is author Dominick Dunne's brother and was married to Joan Didion when this book was published.
